![]() The workout section will be used necessarily between the levels - it consists of a gym in which you'll be able to spend your points (fishes collected during gameplay sessions) into improving attack power, health points or attack speed and abilities.Īnd the costume part of the game is really astonishing - there will be tons of costumes made up by head helmet/cap, body part and weapons - collecting all three of them will complete a costume, giving you its related bonus, although you can mix up everything and dress your four kittens as you please taking into account their statistics!Īnd for what concerns the powers (healing, regen, break down walls, see invisible blocks, see traps, teleport and so on), you'll be also able to click on the corresponding icons and see the costumes that have that particular ability, so you'll be able to choose the perfect combination for each level (although expect lots of replays and some grind =P). The left mouse button will be the only one you'll use through the whole game - it's jump time!Īnd the weapons will be melee or ranged, so if you're employing ranged costumes/kittens you'll better keep them backwards! The party of the StrikeForce will be composed of four kittens and you'll have to invest lots of strategy in order to choose their perfect costumes and abilities, taking into account that they will all strike in order. The fight and the game, in fact, scroll both automatically - you'll fight by getting into contact with the static enemies, and you'll be constantly moving forwards (of course, you'll move backwards if you go into a wall and so on). You'll see what you'll have to avoid, fight, jump over and so on. You will get lots of costumes (and I mean literally a ton of them) by defeating the foxes, and every costume will give you some kind of boost and special power - there will be also a few powers (like the Pokemon HMs xD) that will be required to pass a particular level: another awesome feature is that before starting a new level you'll be able to see what's needed, the whole enemy setting and the level conformation. It runs as a puzzle/platformer with a funny story of cats and foxes - the kittens are your squad, and you'll have to defeat armies of foes dressed up in every single way. It offers hours of playtime and it's so challenging and funny that you'll keep on playing it for days! Here, luckily, we have a fully functioning game with its Unity engine and it left only the fun out of the whole thing! I wanted to quote him because the game suffered of HEAVY lag issues, that started to kick in after 10 minutes of gameplay and made eventually the game impossible to play if you didn't restart the whole thing. ![]() ![]() (though this is just for pure convenience, it's absolutely fine without it) Add some sort of marker over enemies to show if you have their full costume yet". an extra slot at the bottom of costumes that let you drag and drop the full costume at once (It will unequip any items from other sets as well), hovering over this icon should also show the full set bonus (name of set + skills + special power) 3. a graphic indicating a set was full (or make the boxes very distinct from the ? boxes) 2. Two issues are that it gets kind of bogged down and laggy at a point, and sometimes your cats bug out and run on different lines (but refuse to pick up the bags they get, though they seem fine with dying on spikes or fighting enemies when they're bugged) The whole costume management is just a pain as well, it would be really awesome if there was 1. ![]() "I'm just having a really hard time enjoying this, but it feels like it should be fun. Just check my profile on Kongregate :PĪnd it had two MAJOR problems, let me quote Kongregate user Blue0Dwarf (the third issue isn't annoying luckily): I played StrikeForce Kitty A LOT in 2014 on Kongregate.Īnd I really mean A LOT, for 10 days maybe, until I managed to complete it.
