Patagonia’s Houdini Jacket does exactly what a windbreaker is supposed to do. What impresses me most about the Houdini Jacket is that it’s ultralight. It also comes in a range of colours, so there’s something to suit all tastes. The drawcord hem, elastic cuffs and hood adjuster all ensure maximum snugness. The XS fits my 5’2’’ petite frame perfectly, but there’s enough room to wear a base layer and a mid-layer underneath if needed. It has a slim fit and comes in a range of sizes from XS to XXL. Made for longer missions when breathability and a bit of weather resistance are essential, thanks to a PFC-free DWR finish (durable water repellent coating that does not contain perfluorinated chemicals).
